Sensei Mike Carr
Sensei Mike Carr started training in 1992 at the age of 5, he has studied both Shotokan and Wado Ryu karate.
Mike has competed all across the UK, gaining many titles along the way in both kata and kumite. He has also competed internationally in the WKF Karate 1 Premier League.
He created Ryu Shotokan in 2012 and has been very successful as a coach creating regional, national, british and international champions. Also coaching many students to represent England.
He has training with many different coaches including England Coach, Ady Gray, World and European Kata Champion Luca Valdesi, World, European Champion, Olympic Gold medal winner Sandra Sanchez, World and European Kumite Champion Wayne Otto OBE, World, European Champion and Olympic hold medal winner Luigi Busa and Ticky Donovon OBE.
